Why not sticking with what you have now ?
Well, first of all M$ is definitely gonna come out with some sort of new standard which is gonna kick in like a bomb and all third party manufacturers are gonna swim with the flow. Result: the user will be forced (over the long term) to upgrade from his existing Win2k/WinME to XP... But until then (hopefully) Linux is going to be ready for the desktop market - probably still a few steps behind M$, but nevertheless free, without the WPA hassle and without giving away your privacy to Big Brother M$. |
