laptop upgrading XP Home to XP Pro?
If I buy a laptop with XP Home installed is it a pretty simply matter to upgrade to XP Pro? Can I use a copy of XP Pro (full version) to do the upgrade?
anybody tried this? |

not sure if it's the same with XP or not, however on some of the Microsoft Operating Systems you have to purchase the specific "Upgrade" disk, you could not upgrade from one O/S to another with the Retail O/S disk.

Either way probably a good idea to backup your most sensitve data and best porn to another computer just in case
