A nightmare before Christmas
I've been watching threads regarding what everyone wants for christmas while at the same time watching my own family fall apart - my wish is a simple one - to have my family at christmas - but this wont be the case.
Ego's and untempered words have strained any hope of a family foundation. It is painful to live out ill-wished holidays between those who onced said, "I love you" Blood it appears is thicker than water - enough to clog the free passage under the bridge towards forgiveness. This christmas be thankful for every member that sits to break bread with you - and recall that the greatest presents are not under the tree but rather around your table.
