What to do when google lists your site, but someone elses domain?
I've tried emailing them. They told me to contact the FTC. Its not an FTC problem. WHen you search for keywords for my site, it shows up in the search results. My description is there, my site is the one on the cache, but the url they have goes to someone elses site. Its been that way for 6 months or longer. I would like MY url to be listed under my site listing, what should I do?
The non-.com googles still have my url listed for my site, but its the main google.com whose traffic I want back. Every instance of my site goes to the wrong domain.

It looks like they spidered my site from someones trade link to me, thinking that was my url. Now when you click from goolge to my pages, it goes right to that trade script out link for fetish folders.

I had this happen with a clients site once with a Yahoo listing. He sells home made candles. His description, and URL showed in the results. Click the link and it went to a Tranny site. I thought he was going to have a shit fit.
I keep main stream and adult on completely different servers and IP blocks and I dont own or link to any tranny sites anyway so I am not sure how the hell this happened. Luckily in a few days it cleared.

FTC is U.S. Federal Trade Commision. They oversee how businesses do business.
The site is http://totally4free.com Do a google search for totally4free. That will get you a page full of results about my site, if you dont count the ebay ads and other junk. Only the 4th result I think is the actual result for the tgp. Its obvious which one it is. The cache is an old version of my site. The link is someone elses. All search terms go to that site now from google.

Your listed just fine.. You just dont come up for the first result whn you search for totally4free, thats not uncommon at all.

He doesnt rank for his search terms. He fell out of the serps for whatever reason. Sure it sucks balls that one of his trades does rank first page when you search the site, but thats not googles fault. They will pick your site back up eventually but with only 10 or so links inbound, dont count on that happening to quickly. If the site. url, description etc were there but the wrong url was showing it was a spider error, but like i said earlier, its not like they will respider and index because of some adult site with 8-10 links inbound. |

As i see it you have a pr0.These sites are easily hijacked by a redirect link from a site thas has pr.Get some links into your site and btw clean up your html code as well.

main.shtml has pr5, but the rest of the site is pr0.
I thought I could get some more link pop by accepting galleries again. But even with 100,000 galleries with my recip on them it didnt help. Smokey: search for the term totally4free. Thats the most obvious search term I am using as an example. There are a lot more. And yeah the html is a mess on index.html. Its 5-6 years old and I have never changed it.

becuase , first off that is not displayed in the top 20 , unless you change your google preferences to non-default settings.
ok now to explain whats happened.. The title of the site is the same as your link , so it looks like your site , but its just the title and words that google index'd when they came around. I imagine someone perhaps made a redirect to your site, and they got picked up before you.. Not to worry they arent stealing your hits , just ranking better.. |

OK. Now that I see everyone is searching google differently, that makes me wonder why each page has different results and how I can get on all the pages. And why is that .ru site putting my site in a frame. I will worry about that later.

people somehow steal my title and description for my pages and then when you click them it goes to some shopping site.. I outrank them anyway so i dont worry about it too much

Smokey: I expect that I am searching google with defaults. I type google.com into my browser, type totally4free into the search box and those are the results I get. I have never done anything differently, and google has no idea who I am or which of the 3 computers I am using. One of them is at an internet cafe.
As far as all those dead link pages you found. If you found those on google, than they found them somewhere years ago. I have not linked to or used any cheater report script in years. Yet that would explain why I get 1000's of hits to that page.

It happens to a few of us...
I've seen sites listed using names I made up for models and my sites names to get good se positions.
There is currently one site now that's a .pl on a free host in Poland that looks as is it links to a site of mine from the wording as it uses the sites name and description but has nothing to do with it all. I complained to Google a year ago about spammers using another of my sites to get good placings and the result was not only did the spammers sites disappear... So did mine... LOL. Basically... Shit happens... |
