Anybody here ever sell on Bidville?
I was getting ready to list a few things on eBay, and couldn't believe how shitty the sales have gotten there. Things that were going for hundreds of dollars, going for less than 25, if they sell at all. Between that and the outrageous eBay fees, fuck that.
Anybody ever try Bidville? http://www.bidville.com/ Supposedly they don't charge any listing fees, only a fee when your item sells. I also heard they have auto-relist for things that don't sell. So a person could list shit at the price they want and forget about it until it sells. Right now, that's looking better than high fees and low ending prices. So, anybody? Any experience with them? |

nope, never tried it...but...as far as i could see at first glimpse, there wasnt much bidding going on.
For instance, 69 domains listed, and bids on none

Yeah, that's the problem with Bidville, massively less traffic than eBay. But if you have hard goods that you paid a certain amount for and you aren't willing to let them go at current eBay prices, Bidville looks pretty good.
I was thinking of basically treating them like an online store. I list things for the amount I want for them, and Bidville keeps listing them until someone buys them. Might take weeks, months, or years, but if I'm not in a hurry, it doesn't matter. (no listing fee) At this point, it's better than padding eBay's pockets and taking a huge cut on the inventory. I do actually see things sell there. Just wondering if anybody here had tried them. |
