Today I got one of these faked paypal eMails:

To verify your Information at this time, please visit our secure server webform by clicking the hyperlink below

It looked like one of the official eMails. They used the same font and had also these warning messages included: "Make sure you never provide your password to fraudulent websites." - LOL fuckers!

Noticed it on two things. 1. They sent it to the wrong eMail. And of course the URL was fucked-up: http://64.92.167130/3%65%72%76%65%72%33%30/webscr/ (modified it, but I still would't click it)

So guys, if you still have a paypal account, be careful.

Been getting similar fake mails for lots of banks, paid access sites and so on...This shit has to be stopped, scammers are running wild nowadays

Those have been around a long time. They change slightly. Hints that paypal gives you is:

If they send you an email it will be directly addressed to you...Dear Joe, not Dear Paypal member.

They also tell you to NEVER click on any link even if you think it is the real deal. Simply open your browser, go to Paypal directly and log in. If they require you to do anything, you will get the message once logged in.
