Ahhh... well I was telling her of a new way I'm going to start promoting some sites. Not anything crazy, but nothing she'd ever heard of. Basically I just confused the hell out of her and her only conclusion was that it must be illegal. I know what you mean about explaining something to someone that isn't familiar with this industry. My reply to people is always: "Internet marketing" and when they ask what I market, I say "Several different things!" hehe

This old lady neighbor told me to "be careful of that Internet" when I told her I built websites. From the tone of her voice, it seemed like "the Internet" had killed someone. Maybe she read a news article about a murder that had a reference to the Internet and her 2+2 meant the Internet killed the person. I dunno. Just funny how some old'uns perceive technology when they don't understand it.

But seriously, I shudder at the thought of a future where I might have to call a child / grandchild to come and program my holographic media player. Hopefully, that'll never happen.
