For example, what would be a good price for a 30 MBPS deticated server.

About $1500 on a Dual Xeon server with quality providers, great support and a long history of good uptime

I see you are hosted with Silicon Valley Web Hosting, i think their infrastructure was created a few years back and their still living in the past. Although they have it done quite well.
