A host to set up a dedicated box? Nothing special or custom just a listed dedicated hosting package on thier website. I will not name the host right now but I am very very unhappy with turnaround time on an order I recently placed and was curious if I was being too demanding. I ordered the server on Monday mid-afternoon, its up at the time of this post(one hour ago) but none of the modules I requested are installed etc.

depends on the modules you are having installed ... if they are not normal modules it could take time for the host to find the ones that will work with your operating system.

If the host gave you a time frame I'd give them more time.

The host gave me an approx 24 hour time frame, I asked for normal modules such as GD Imagemagick and Zend optimizer. Like I said to me I dont think it was a big deal Ive seen hosts get a dedicated box up within hours.

Hmmn I don't see those as anything that could not have been installed and delivered in 24-48 hours.

Unless you ask for it to be up quicker, 24-72 hours isn't bad. 3 days though, you should start bitching.
