you can park at sedo for free if you dont want front page listings, in fact they pay you for clicks off your parked domains. but its not a significant amount, if you have quite a few empty domains though it may be worth the trouble.

For me personally, I have found that testing out different parking programs for each domain with substantial traffic is worth the time and effort. My results: Sedo does alright for big keyword domains related to Casino/Credit Cards/Loans/Travel. But Fabulous does just as well if not better for those categories. DomainSponsor seems to do a lot better than Sedo for most domains.

The main benefit of Sedo is the lowered sales commission if you have the name parked there. This works well for lesser names with little traffic. Fabulous has some of the best landing pages in the industry. The downside to using them is that they require a minimum amount of names (100) be parked with them and you are restricted in making your own advanced settings changes (popups, etc.). You have to wait for a customer support rep to approve changes and make them for you. DomainSponsor now has a sales offer function on its landing pages. This gives you added exposure but floods your email inbox with tons on non-serious offers. I hear great things about HitFarm, but it is apparently an invitation only program. For some domains (especially those with foreign traffic), I have found that template pages using sponsor ads (Google, affiliate programs, etc) is the best way to monetize the traffic.

My advice is to list your domains everywhere you can for free simultaneously (i.e. Sedo, Afternic). And park them where they do best. If you don't have the time to try them all, take a look at ParkingIncome.com to compare PPC stats by keywords.

There is a reason DomainSponsor is where most of mine are parked (see sig).

Good luck.

Go to domainstate.com: There are dozens of intelligent discussions on this subject.

Pay close attention to "Safesys"'s post. He's the moderator and a fount of knowledge.

My two cents. Get enought traffic together and go direct. All sponsors lose you money to some degree. Like pax I've tested 'em and the only thing I'll say is that sedo is probably the worst.
