DVD to AVI: interlace or de-interlace when encoding?
When you rip video from DVDs, do you keep the interlacing or do you de-interlace source during the encode?

 A business thread .... OK, I leave it interlaced. But again, do a test on a short clip ( trailer ...) and see by yourself.
