So last night I was on the phone with baddog and I hear this awful noise in the background. When I asked him WTF he was doing, he told me about all the stuff he was dumping into his smoothie.

5 minutes later I was off the phone and headed to the grocery store.

Now I'm hooked on this stuff.

If I wanted to start eating better then I would have done it without him tempting me with his fruity concoction.

His:
2 cups black grapes
5 large strawberries
1 Kiwi
1/2 pear
1 banana
1 cup o ice

handful of blueberries, bunch of strawberries, few dozen grapes, a pear and a banana . . . and a few ice cubes

Now I am hungry, think I will do it again, but will add a half a cantalope

The pear will still dominate the flavor. Try cutting that in half.

I am not adding the cantalope to hide the pear flavor, I am adding it because it needs to be eaten before it goes bad.

I suggest Captain Morgan's Spiced Rum, gummi bears are too difficult on the blender

For smoothies I like to buy those low calorie, low fat single servings of yogurt. Freeze them rock solid. The plastic single serving container will peel right off, leaving you with a frozen block of yogurt. Add to that frozen berries and peaches, frozen bannanas and 1% milk. No ice required.

frozen yogourt and fresh fruit still make a good smoothie. Sometimes I get on a health kick and add udo's oil blend. And pure whey protein powder

How do you think I maintain my boyish figure?

Actually, I just recently started it as part of the raw food diet I am on. Found it easier to get all my fruits in by mashing them up than trying to eat them one by one.

Some are easier on my stomach that way too.

Oh . . . I just add a couple ice cubes to chill it, I am not inclined to freeze a fruit as I might decide I want to eat it rather than juice it.
