I tryed newsgroups but when i'm posting to tgps it is hard to get listed because it is difficult for me to find a series of pictures from newsgroups. Please help and don't tell me to go fuck myself!

I have a great idea for ya. Just go to some TGP listings and pull off a bunch of pics from the galleries submitted. Once you get the ones that you'd like to use on your page, upload the pics and set them all up.

Once you're all setup, go to see APIC - http://www.a-w.org and ask them for permission to use all of those public domain pics. They represent many people and in most cases they'll just give you the permission, no problem

newbies, you need to go direct -> hotlink the 'public domain' images you find. it's called 'public domain' bandwidth. that way you don't even have to upload the images to your 'free' host.

Bulldog, I'm sure this will be one of many answers you get on this question.
There is no such thing as "Public Domain" that you wold want to put up on the net.
Because both the photographer and the model have to be dead and the rights not passed on.
Go to http://www.apic-adult.com and read about the problems you will have putting up images that have come from newsgroups. Even if you did not take the down yourself, they are illegal and likely to get you into a lot of trouble.
If you want cheap images go to www.paulmarkham.com

Obviously, a half-serious reply to Bulldog, but as regards the serious half, I should point out that free does not = public domain, a concept many don't seem to understand. Public domain means nobody owns it. Clearly if someone is giving you permission to use something, it isn't really "public domain," or no permission would be necessary.

Because both the photographer and the model have to be dead and the rights not passed on. Go to http://www.apic-adult.com and read about the problems you will have putting up images that have come from newsgroups. Even if you did not take the down yourself, they are illegal and likely to get you into a lot of trouble. If you want cheap images go to www.paulmarkham.com I tryed newsgroups but when i'm posting to tgps it is hard to get listed because it is difficult for me to find a series of pictures from newsgroups. Once you get the ones that you'd like to use on your page, upload the pics and set them all up. Once you're all setup, go to see APIC - http://www.a-w.org and ask them for permission to use all of those public domain pics. Public Domain is a product, in this example pics, which the holder of the copyright has given permission to the world to use. The holder of the copyright of a library worth of content can post it on a newsgroup, and declare it public domain. I hold the copyright on pics of an ex-wife or ex-g/f blowing me. I can post them here, or on a newsgroup and declare them public domain. It does not mean that I do not own the copyright, it only means that I have given up any protection provided by copyright laws. The same thing happens when the composer or a song dies, and enough time has passed with no one handling his estate having filed the paperwork required to continue the copyright protection. Freeware is public domain.
