anyone else into tycoon/god games?

yes, I am a girl - sue me. Shooting and racing games don't do much for me (though half life 2 was a lot of fun) but I have always liked tycoon/empire. etc type of games. Of course I know about the Sims (I can stop any time I want to) but there are more and more of the 'little' empire/tycoon games out there now.

Does anyone have ones they are really enjoying and can reccomend? I have played and enjoyed all the Rollercoaster Tycoons...I liked Pizza Tycoon a few years ago and I am about currently installing 'Casino Empire' that I got off ebay for a buck.

Any other tycoon fans here?

My girlfriend and I have been enjoying Zoo Tycoon 2, and just got Sea World Tycoon. But we don't like it as much. Which of the tycoon type games are as good as Zoo Tycoon?

Get Civilization III Complete. You'll love it. Then after you become a Civfanatic you'll be drooling waiting for Civ IV due later this year.

Casino Empire! I got that out of the bargain bin at Fry's a few years ago.

For more recent games, you might want to try Rome Total War. It's kind of a mix of RTS/Sim/War and can get addictive... but fun

Evil Genius is great... basically you are a supervillan and have to build your evil empire in a mountain. Build up your base, minions, weapons, etc to finally build your world domination weapon and take over the world. LOL

I don't like PC games....the last thing I want to do with my free time is sit at this desk.

However I do love those type of games.....I still play Genghis Khan II, P.T.O., and Romance of the Three Kingdoms on the super nes in my kid's room.
