That's not 100% true. My friend had that done just 2 years ago, then met the woman of his dreams and she wanted a baby. He went to have it reversed and it didn't work.

But other than that... damn good idea. Now you never have to pull out.

did you even read the thread? my wife has 2 serious medical conditions that don't allow for her to easily have children

plus, i have absolutely no desire to have children. I don't believe we were put on this earth to have children, in fact, that is a very 40-50's way of thinking. I believe that we were put here to live life and learn lessons so that we will advance onto the next life, on to more lessons

I have big plans for myself and my wife in the next 10-15 years. i wanna backpack across europe, i wanna buy harleys and drive around the country, i wanna buy an RV and drive from alaska to the most southern tip of south america....can't do all that with children

it would be selfish of me to bring children into this world when I know would not be giving them the full amount of love that they would need.

plus, have you looked outside very much? the USA ain't that great of a place anymore...take away politics and religion, you are left with shitty school, shitty values and just an all around terrible place for kids to be raised...and I would never put any child through that

yeah, they say it is 82% reversible...but regardless, it is the best solution for me short term and long term...plus I am 99.9% sure I don't want kids...and this comes from a long time of me thinking I needed kids...

A medical condition is one thing and I am sorry that your wife cannot easily have children. All of the rest is just selfish excuses. You cannot travel and have fun with children? Wow - that is news to me. This world is not the greatest place, you are correct. however, every child that is brought into this world and raised by a loving family makes it just a little better.
