Will conventions in canada become bigger because of 2257 ?

Thoses 2257 extradition threads crack me up . I totally agree that we must do something about it, but 2257 isn't at the same level as mass murder yet .

I think 2257 could cause the entire industry to move more towards European processors, affiliate programs, and hosting providers.

Money flows like water, it takes the route of least resistance. The US gov is creating a regulatory burden that simply doesn't exist elsewhere.

People have been saying this since the first COPA was proposed. For some people (probably most) the money will continue to outweigh the risk of staying in the States.

I disagree, you not only run into the 80/20 rule with 20% making 80% of the money but a big portion of that 20% are very visible in the industry and look like big targets.

I'd be surprised if most of the big programs didn't move out of the US if and when the shit hits the fan.

COPA has been struck down in the courts multiple times though. Of course, 2257 could be struck down in the future too, that remains to be seen.

I think if COPA was allowed and was being enforced, the industry would flee America pretty quick.

Good point. I hadn't thought of that. We live in interesting times.

They wouldn't go overseas to get someone at all. Because they can't.
