This studio will do well, and they certainly know how to make a promotion. I don't see too many of these design shops doing promotions like this...very smart idea.

Winners will get custom templates, same way as if they purchased some.

The way I see it, the designer should get maximum exposure for his work, since he's being nice enough to put up gallery templates as prizes. The cool part is that everyone wins, both designer and webmaster, and we all have fun in the process.

I love gfy contests for that very reason. Its not like where you have a winner, and a whole lot of losers, where the contest promoter makes off with a small fortune. The good luck get spread all around to many GFY members. Its not like any other board's contests that I know. Its also nice to see the quantity of these contests of all sorts that there are.

Have you seen the new webcamcash contest up right now? They're paying out on signature views, with some serious money too.
