Any webmasters getting together to file a class action suit if not why? - GoFuckYourself.com

I had a lawyer that contacted me a year ago talking about how this was coming around and wanted to see if people were interested in getting together and being prepared for this and immediately doing class action suit to be the aggressor rather then sit back and hope we don't get our door knocked on first.
I realize some people can't afford to go through all the lawyers and court costs but together costs would be much lower to retain a lawyer and have him handle this for several of us.

Not sure if a group in here is doing this or why it might be a bad idea but that lawyer contacted me again a couple days ago saying he would be interested in fighting this still and it would be alot better to fight as a group then the government picking off webmasters one by one.

If it's not I don't understand why don't US webmasters get together on this one.

Not sure about the class action thing. But I was thinking of why that has not happened. I just posted a thread a few hours ago, about Utah being sued for the porn laws.

Sex sells and so does "anti-sex" and there are thousands of Republican politicians up for some kind of an election who are running on "get tough on sex crimes" an making even more stuff illegal. You guys number one problem - as I have said all along - is that you didn't give any money back to the Political Parties who were in power!!! If you can't join the enemy at least you can buy them off!!

Anyway, I am still interested!! I will be willing to work on an individual basis or with a group - whatever is appropriate. Right now my minimum retainer is $500 and I charge between $25 and $50 an hour for all research and preparation of arguments. I do not represent anyone in court. They will be instructed on how to represent themselves up to and through the "setting for trial" stage and then I will show them how to obtain a really good court-appointed counsel to take over. If this interests you let me know and I will send the name of my bank to you. I am ready any time. I am set up now with an even better research plan that before as far as the Legal databases that I use. I can defeat all that has transpired and do it very economically but, it will be better and more effective to go as a class - action.

He was retired last time I talked to him so I can see why he wouldn't want to travel all over the United States for court appearances. If anyone was wondering about that part.
