I mean i don't get it, i couldn't find a single site i could promote, the niches appear to be very very small to try and target to an audience big enough to get a good amount of signups?

Maybe that's their strong point, but the niches seem too artificial, dunno if there's even a potential market for those sites, and if it's worth it to send my traffic over there?

I can understand the kajillon threads yesterday trying to get some signups for their $200/webmaster referral, but all of them failed to tell me WHY should i signup? please enlighten me

Not everything that's new will convert, it has a small advantage over other sites being new i'll give you that, but besides that is the content exclusive or outstanding in any way, i'm speaking out of complete ignorance here since i haven't seen their members areas or promo content.

Again I'm not trying to bash ragecash in any way, actually i'm trying to see if i should promote them or not, and i'm not convinced yet.

Some of the markets that their sites are catering towards, ie: sleepy niche.

Convert and retain that well you'd be an idiot to use them on pps. Often those markets are very loyal, and the surfs in those markets tend to stick together and let each other know about the sites.

I agree... there really isnt any defined niches and the ones that are there are very narrow. Im sure they will convert, but whoever is sending traffic would need to have a very specific surfer.

go figure, the 'general surfer' was my main concern, that the sites would be too specific for them, dunno if many will get that impression from the sites.

They retain because most times very small micro niche sites with good content are rare to find. Ie: sadism, edge play, preggo, etc etc. While ratios may be higher then other more mainstreme markets, the surfers are just about always loyal. With average rebills being 4-6+months, per surfer. In my findings anyway.

Well retention is not an issue here, since it's a pps program, i mean if you have a very very hot single girl site you will get insane and im talking about more than a year long retentions (as i had as an affiliate with tawnee stone and tiffany teen fanatics for example) AND a broad audience on top of that, so you can sell a lot and retain at the same time, these micro niches will sell a little, on very specific traffic and retain something, so i still don't know what's the big fuss about besides the $200 wm referrall

i've tried real hard to see if i could promote this sponsor, but none of the sites really do it for me. they have very little in what i look for in a sponsor. i could care less about what people are saying, at the very least all the hype got me to take a deeper look at the program.

Well i applaud that attitude and i'm all for taking risks (as everyone in this industry) but it's like too much, deciding switching sponsors on niches that you know work for your traffic is ok as a risk (a teen sponsor for another)

But these niches seem so closed, almost as promoting a 'baloon niche' site, dunno if my traffic would buy it, if you know your traffic would then why not.

I can appreciate what you are saying. I don't have much to lose at this point, so I'm willing to take a giant leap. I know those of you with established traffic may not feel the same.

Another factor for me is that my main site is a directory/portal/blog thing, and my "host" character can approach it like: hey, check out these crazy sites I found!
