Maybe since the modern name for Persia is Iran, you should be asking about the Iranian Olympic team(?).

yes, i realize what the modern name of "persia" is
the reason i decided to use "persia" instead of iran is because of Mr. bush's recent comments regarding the "axis of evil"...and I figured some of the more uninformed webmasters here might start a flaming war if they saw "iran"

Iran was good in weightlifting and wrestling I think in the olympics, but I don't think they do anything in the winter ones.
