I like that font. You have any other faces to place in there on top. I don't like her facial expression look. It made me think of a blowup doll. Something with a sexy one eye shot maybe with more expressiveness.

wow this thread speaks volumes about the level of professionalism around, not a single designer asked for a concept, more information about the site's focus, products/services offered, target audience, etc. then the only clear guideline was "NO SCREWS" and there are at lest 5 entries with screws wtf!?

are you stupid or just retarded? the reason not a single designer ASKED FOR A CONCEPT is because it's the fucking designers JOB to come up with one.

do you design a logo for a cams/teen/hardcore/fetish site with the same target in mind?

an effective logo is one that encompasses an entire idea, rather than a specific niche alone. you cover all grounds this way, and allows for expansion within the company without having to change logos.

I see many images using Bevels, Gradients, and blurred shadow effects. All of which don't convert well to VECTOR. I hope he doesn't plan on paying $600 for a .PSD file. That shit better be in .AI or .EPS.

wow, I don't really like any of these, heh. Surprising 'coz these contests usually have some great entries. Don't know if I can come up w/ anything better tho - it's a hard (no pun intended) concept to convey in a logo, without being totally obvious. Carry on...

A few of our faves so far:

http://www.mindinfect.com/screws05.jpg - This looks killer although it's not the direction we were looking for originally. We might find a way to incorporate this style into the site design anyway.

http://www.jcgraphicdesign.com/pics/screwlogos.jpg - the top font in the lower case is probably the lead design as far as font goes. Nix the screw graphics though. Move around the .com in few different ways maybe.

http://www.nnconnect.com/SCREW.jpg - This is tight and bold, although it's a little on the corporate side as far as attitude. I like the background graphics but not the matrix effects or blue color scheme.

http://www.internetadvertisingllc.co...crewlogo12.jpg
http://www.internetadvertisingllc.co...crewlogo13.jpg - The silhouettes work great in this one. I could see a variation of this type of graphic being in the screw logo.

Still in consideration:
http://www.rmxstudio.com/works/contest/screw/screw5.gif - This is great work...it won't be the logo but I'm pretty certain this will end up in our promo clothing/ads etc.

http://www.nomeconoces.com/freelance/screw-logo.jpg - These have a certain cutesy appeal...maybe for the models t's, hats, panties etc. Fun stuff.

a lot of the silhouttes you seem to like, suck. they're font silhouttes and it's pretty unoriginal hehe... i'm guilty of using them myself from time to time. but if you really want yourself a recognizable brand you'll go with something that is recognizably custom, like MINE!
