I haven't read this entire thread but I have doubts about the validity of the statement posted on the site that has closed. Is there mainstream media that has covered this or anything news outlets that corroborate it at all?

The Xbiz article is based, as it clearly states, solely upon what is written on the closed site. I haven't seen nor heard of anything to back up the claims. Perhaps the guy is closing the site for other reasons, but saying it's because he's being forced to shut down makes it easy with no further questions asked.

It seems unlikely to me that the site would get closed down no matter how vulgar or morally reprehensible various people may think it was. Their are text based beast, rape, scat, hate and otherwise radical sites all over the place. Why on earth would this site be shut down.

99.9% sure any investigator would have an interest in the content of hard drives where there is a suggestion of CP

It's a nice "snapshot" of any biz and a clue to what's happening or has been happening. I got a "demo" of an actual case in an EU forensics lab - It's amazing what they can recover off hard drives - they "drilled down" about 10 levels deep on a disk and recovered stuff eased/replaced a few times over.

Is there mainstream media that has covered this or anything news outlets that corroborate it at all? The Xbiz article is based, as it clearly states, solely upon what is written on the closed site. I haven't seen nor heard of anything to back up the claims. Perhaps the guy is closing the site for other reasons, but saying it's because he's being forced to shut down makes it easy with no further questions asked. It seems unlikely to me that the site would get closed down no matter how vulgar or morally reprehensible various people may think it was.
