Extorting 200 dollars a month... .

Put your knowledge to good use. I wipe my ass with $200 and I'm sure you could do if you put all your effort into something useful.

You are a fool signore! The user name belongs to signore Lightspeeds client. The account was cracked with a proxy from Mexico. Each response I read from you simpletons is more dumber.

Hai ragione signore, maybe they can recover their websites loss peddling all their pirated software & stolen property.

You said it...security will always be a problem. So what is a paysite owner's reaction supposed to be? I'm not surprised by this, but I sure as hell can't afford to spend a ton of money on a security system that is bound to be cracked anyways. There is no solution. Add extra hoops for paying members to jump through & your retention is going to go down & hackers will still find a way in.

so if someone posted his pictures of the board (on a surfer board) how long do you think it would take before someone gave up the address.

I love reading this thread.

Like bandwidth bills cost anythign these days.

For every e|337 hacker there are 1000 nub surfers who dont know anything.

Look at how much money M$ makes despite the huge piracy of everything they own.

hackers & crackers will always exist. Ciao proved it. We can still make lots of money in this game

On the face of it, this kind of thread seems like an extraordinary indictment of our industry. What else could such weak member-area security be except a consequence of poor management? But there are two things to consider...

The first is that the owners of a retail store - for example - can accurately measure their losses due to various types of theft, and they can also calculate the cost of and savings resulting from measures intended to reduce theft. Thus they can apply such measures as are cost-effective and budget the practically unavoidable thefts as an expense.

We know password trading sites exist. We know their activities cost paysites bandwidth and we strongly suspect they cost them sales. But we do not have any way to quantify these losses and therefore no way to know what security measures might be cost-effective. So what to do? Good management isn't acting simply for the sake of being seen to be doing something, but acting in a way which demonstrably improves profitability.

And then there is the nature of our industry at this moment in time. It isn't made up of corporations with legal responsibilities and answerable to shareholders. Because this is still a young industry, many people in it have made, are making, far more money than just a few years ago they ever imagined: despite the password traders and all the other leaks. Yes, by absolute standards their management may be poor, but so what? They could learn and apply some new skills or hire those skills and add some points to their bottom lines as a result. But if that meant diverting part of their time and energies away from the things they enjoy doing and believe make them the big money, I seriously doubt many would be interested.

So what does someone like Ciao bella really have to gloat over? By his own admission he is hacking systems with minimal security, so what he is doing isn't much of a technical achievement. And sooner or later he risks falling foul of the law when he likely could make as much or more money legitimately.

The bottom line is that he is no better than any other kind of small-time thief and while he might be an irritant, the people from whom he is stealing will still be making serious money, long after he has been shut down.

Which really sums it all up perfectly. The guy is here laughing at how he can illegally access sites and extort money for a teeny $200 a pop. Who's the real idiot? Funny thread just to see how many other idiots think this guy is in any way 'clever'.

Fuck, I hope I never become so poor that I have to turn to theft and extortion for $200. When I do I'll know I really have hit rock bottom.

There are hundreds of password forums and community's on the web. Pay this fucker off and you'll be faced with thousands of copy cats and wannabes.

Exactly why you're not supposed to negotiate with these low-lifes.

Hello. First let me introduce myself. I'm yet another, how you like to call them "hacker". Only difference is, that ciaobella is a poor script kiddie bruteforcer that learned to operate senty/AD/caecus and the likes, and now he thinks he owns the world. I've followed the conversation thus far from outside as many of us do, since we always keep a close eye on all webmaster boards, and didn't interfere untill i saw some of you started "believeing" this clown.

It's true most of you dont know the first thing about security, so what he wrote might seem "Advanced" to you, but that's all kiddie stuff. Half of that was even described in a bruteforce tutorial that comes with one cracking tool. "Ciao bella" is a moron and a newbie. I like how he posts screenshots of his board wiht "200" pages of replies or what not. He probably has 5 replies per page and the thread in a continuous one. With that setup, i know much larger forums that would rack that up to 1000's. Another thing i like is how he speaks for "all" crackers. Another bullshit. There's shitload of more boards and crackers. Paying to him for "stoping to bruteforce your site" (HA HA) wouldn't make up for a single thing in your breached logins. Most of the stuff he wrote was bullshit.
"logs of billing companies???" - Like he has access to any of the billing company. He'd be advertising to them, not to you if he had.
"Ip from mexico bla bla, bullshit bullshit" - Just a proxy found on any cracker board

And last thing. Since he must know most of us actually read this stuff, and we obliterate from internet anyone that contacts with webmasters (as that's the first and most important rule of this trade) he's hiding his board name. We have our world, you have yours. We do this stuff cause of the challenge, not cause of the financial gain (not talking about puny brutefocing). And when we find out the url of his board, you can be sure he'll see what DDoS actually feels like, and how it feels to have your bandwidth sucked right infront of you in a matter of minutes. We'll handle our stray sheep.

Bye

Here here.

To that end, last time I checked, Extortion was still a crime. In some countries a rather serious one.

Bye
Ya i'm pretty sure youre right. Its obvious its a kid. An arrogant one. He will end up in jail sooner or later. He will grow up there.

Anyway, more important: Can i request some cracked passes

Right now I'm sitting in the office of a billing company, where I work a few days a week as part of the programming team for their system's back end.

I must say, we've all been having a good laugh at this retarded fucking thread.

Program owners have more to worry about with chargebacks than with script kiddies who don't have credit cards of their own trying to gain access to their sites.

Signore, we've been in business since 2002. Our security, anonymity, & clients with .edu credentials will continue to rise & succeed. Our profit margin had risen 8% from last semister. We laugh at you saying we crack sites with minimal security. Many sites I've posted consist of better than adverage security. Suppose you consider Strongbox minimal security? It's funny how some attempt to factually & moralistically justify when proof is displayed. Face it signore, you all do not have the education to stop us.

Signore justsexxx, We crack numerous users & passes per paysite. Our threads are updated 2/3 times a week. Implementing our CGI & other proxy IP's, passes last longer. 1 dies, it's replaced with 10 more.

You're right. I've lived with true Italians for a little over a year, and never did I hear them talk like that. What he has is a mix of Italian and Spanish.

He's obviously some poser

Fuck, I hope I never become so poor that I have to turn to theft and extortion for $200. When I do I'll know I really have hit rock bottom.
