So why didn't Nastradomous predict anything after right now

All his other predictions have been on point,
and according to his predictions -- the apocolypse should be right about now give or take a year or two.

what do you think?

Well...we don't know if he predicted it or not.

We usually don't find out until after the fact.

He's just another quack just like the writers of the Bible that tried to predict things and during translations things "seemed" to be the same as the predictions - but just people making things appear the same - and in most cases about Nostradamus and the writers of the bible - a bunch of BS

In the year of the new century and nine months,
From the sky will come a great King of Terror.
The sky will burn at forty-five degrees.
Fire approaches the great new city

In the city of york there will be a great collapse,
2 twin brothers torn apart by chaos
while the fortress falls; the great leader will succumb;
third big war will begin when the big city is burning

Kristian - might wanna check your sources - that was an email scam that went around after the WTC attacks and is pieced to gether from a bunch of different quatrains (or however its spelled)
the actual translation from French is:
The year 1999, seventh month,
From the sky will come a great King of Terror:
To bring back to life the great King of the Mongols,
Before and after Mars to reign by good luck

And when they did the scam they fucked up as New York is at 40 degrees not 45 so they were off by around 350 miles

It's not that hard to predict the future. History repeats it self. There will be another Hilter, another Napolean and so forth. Look at what happened in recent past, give a general description of what happened and say that it's going to happen in the future.

It depends on how you look at it. Nobody can really say for sure whether or not he's predicted actual events..it depends on how you interpret his ideas. Some people think he's full of shit, other's don't.. Either way, he's an interesting read..

haha dude when people make predictions like this it just fucking cracks me up. i mean i totally see why people can believe them. its because they are so god damn generalized.

"in the year of the all mighty leader,
a great city will fall to a catastrophic storm
which shall create poverty and suffering
for all whom did not escape its wrath
this is a dangerous time for the women and children
many people will die

dynastoned 2005"

i mean fuck that could apply to so many events that have already happened....

I used to think it was bullshit before I even knew anything about it. Then I saw this show on the discovery about him and his predictions and it kinda turned me into a believer.

Its all on how you interpret it, but like some crazy dude was saying, they didn't have air planes or names for things like that back then, so thats why he would mention something like men with pig masks in a metal something... crazy stuff

all great writers understand how to generalize by using natural events and human nature. the bible, and people like this clown are perfect examples. read them all and none of them are specific on anything but its just far enough to be believable. you could probably relate it to how you hold your mouse when searching the internet if you tryed.

This is my last response to you because I find you bizarre (and therefore cannot debate and hope for a reasonable response). Before you ask, you're bizarre because of your assumptions about me and your almost irrate attitude to what you consider my lack of knowlesge.

For some reason you think I am religious, believe in Nostradamus, and know little of both. You've gleaned this from what I've written here? I merely made a few quotes and privately laughed at your misunderstanding of the bible and it's originators.

I'm neither religious, nor a believer in fortune tellers. I think I've been to church twice in my entire life. I simply have a wide general knowledge and belong to a gentleman's club which makes it a duty to learn aspects of the bible.

What amazes me is that even if I was wrong, which I am not, you felt the need to correct me in such a strenuous way. You're very highly-strung and unpleasant.

This entire thread has become almost as bizarre as the subject-matter.

ALL Nostradamus translations are from a book written in 16th century _OLD FRENCH_... The translations are almost impossible to do correctly. Nostradamus took DRUGS and THEN wrote those wacky sentences in no order whatsoever. He wrote a letter to his son at the beginning of the book which basically says "I wrote all this shit while I was high, so do not count on any of it, its pure crap, I just had fun"...

There are at least 2 translations in each language they were translated to. That makes like, what... 200 different translations and meanings?

Its all bogus, I have 8 books on this, each one says something totally different. All "predictions" were linked to real happenings _AFTER_ they occured. You know how easy it is to link: "The year 1999, seventh month, " to all about anything including different years all together? The french verse is "L'an mil neuf cens nonante neuf sept mois". The numbers can be linked together in any way you can dream of with all kinds of explanations of why that needs to be done.

Nostradamus is a fake.

Hi Kristian - just so that there is no misunderstanding - although my responses were to you they were in no way meant to intimate anything about you - just general statements
So no assumptions about you personally whatsoever.

I also know and have studied the origins of the bible and have a pretty good feel for the politics that went into the conversion of the folk stories into what a king wanted to use to unite a set of two groups of peoples - when most were believers in two different gods, and by doing so increase his power over the city and thereby try to end the dissention between the groups. That these stories have been proven false archeologically, and some were converted to fit the one god - it still boils down to the same thing - a bunch of BS that was told as folk stories converted to "gospel". Of course I wouldnt even pretend to know the politics behind the later conversion of the bible to Christianity as that was just another power play thousands of years after these folk stories were originall told - and used again to justify killing of millions of people which kinda keeps playing to this day doesnt it?

There are at least 2 translations in each language they were translated to. That makes like, what... 200 different translations and meanings?

Its all bogus, I have 8 books on this, each one says something totally different. All "predictions" were linked to real happenings _AFTER_ they occured. You know how easy it is to link: "The year 1999, seventh month, " to all about anything including different years all together? The french verse is "L'an mil neuf cens nonante neuf sept mois". The numbers can be linked together in any way you can dream of with all kinds of explanations of why that needs to be done.

Nostradamus is a fake.
Exfuckingactly...read my post in the pyramid topic. Same goes for this. People love mystery and are simply too stupid to learn the facts. Most of them dont even want facts. Because facts = end of mystery.

even the best of them are not 100% correct including Nastradomous - he writes some stuff down and we interpret it after the fact is not the way too go. Even Edgar Casey said that the ark was going to be found by now by clues in the pyramids and Atlantis (according to Casey) has already rose - unless he was talking about the gay vacation spot recently opened http://www.atlantisevents.com, even his predictions are on a 50/50 level
