It will be interesting to see how much a re-work of the 747 will bring considering that the A380 designed new from ground up. I am no pro. just my thought.

They flew this plane over at Seafair this year in Seattle. They did a low flight right over Lake Washington. Let me tell you, this plane is ENOURMOUS. It seriously blacked out the sky as it came over Seward Park. Pretty dope.

you can spot the sig whores here... this "new" 747 is only 5m (15 feet) longer than the existing 747s.

There is no new technology here and the airbus a340 is much much longer and has been around for years.
