Depends what you are mainly looking to do? If running affiliates with them as well, ccbill has a very nice set up.

i agree that both is your best choice, but if you wanna start with one...

if your main concern is getting affiliates, ccbill is probably your best bet. they allow webmasters to marry all their account together into 1 check, which is very appealing to european webmasters. also ccbill is a little easier to set up, and more affiliates are familiar with how to set up links through them.

on the other hand, if you want to have cross sales on your join page that are deals like getting paid $15 on a $1 signup, paycom is the way to go. and btw, paycom is now showing hits info in their stats. and with epoch/paycom, you get rand to help you out if you need it - he rocks ;) paycom is also offers a lot more setup options (although figuring them out without talking to support wasn't easy) and if you use your data dump, you will have a world of info at your fingertips.

well depending on how much longer i wait till i launch nats might be an option don't really feel like shelling otu 1500 bucks for setup :-/ how reliable are webmasters on home grown solutions? i have 3 years experiance coding mainstream affiliate systems so pulling one together myself wouldn't be an issue. though having a ccbill option for webmasters for the all in one check method is an idea also.

Spudstr,

I'm out of town on personal business until the Monday after Thanksgiving. But, if you would like to see if we are a good fit for each other, please drop us a line at [email protected]. Please put "Spudstr / GFY" in the subject line and we will be in touch.

I'll be back on the grid after Thanksgiving.

I cannot say about CCbill, since I do not use them.

But Paycom, that I use, has been very stable.

Support has been great, mainly from a certain Busola ( or Busala... ).

you need both...

Plus you need a solid casgade script like nats.
I recomend amanda gross for paycom and andy keifer for ccbill.
each one will treat you like they are your children. I have nothing but great suppot from each. as far as nats goes, there is really nothing better i can say that hasnt been said already. These guys are simply phenominal. They are they best. Hit me up if you need contact info for each. (paycom) (ccbil) (nats).

This is what I never understood. Why do you need both? Makes no sense to me. I am pretty sure (although I could be wrong), that since both Paycom and CCBill are reputable and good companies, and neither would want to lose their Visa processing that they both scrub transactions with the same or close to the same standards. So if one card doesn't get approved with Paycom, I would assume there is probably a 90 - 95% chance it won't get approved with CCBill either, and vice versa. Doesn't make sense to me why you would need or want both.

I personally think that Cascading is just something everyone "thinks" they need because someone told them they did. "Because they told me I needed it" seems to run rampant in this biz (ie. "Blogs").

All about the eggs in one basket.. you need to learn that quick. Look into my virtual car too. I split my members up to a different % each month.

Thats how you stay in business! always look to have enough per biller to pay 3 months of affilate payouts. this way if you loose they dont.
Cheers

If you are just starting out, use CCbill for memberships and Netbilling if you are going to sell products. Once you build up enough volume to get your own merchant account (if it is memberships you are indeed selling), have Netbilling get yu a merchant account for that too and you will be golden.

You might want to consider Ibill. They have the lowest rates in the industry under 10%. They have had some trouble paying on time, but they say this will eventually change and they will get current again. Also GKard doesn't accept Discover credit card, so you will be losing all those transactions as well.

Netbilling as primary and CCbill or Paycom as a backup just in case. You wikll save money that way and get better conversions by far.
