Just finished a book about Danny Kane, the key to the arrest of 125 + hells angels arround here. He got paid couple thousands a week for his contract + 1,8 mill bonus at the end. Probably the biggest contract for an informant.

I'm reading "The Killer Angels" It's about the battle of gettysburg. Before that I read "The Plague." It was a tough read but very good. Next up is "Sabath's Theatre" By Phillip Roth. I like Roth so it should be good.

The Demon Plague by Joreid McFate which is amazing! In the vain of Anne Rice Mayfair Witch trilogy.

What Would Jefferson Do? By Thom Hartmann which is also very good. Shows why democracy is not an aberration in human history but the oldest, most resilient, and most universal form of government, with roots in nature itself.

This sounds interesting. I loved all the Mayfari Witches books, but didn't really like Rice's other stuff. I'll check it out.

I am currently reading "Beach Music" by Pat Conroy. Conroy is probably one of the best "writer's" out there in terms of his prose, but the subject of his writing is not usually my cup of tea.

I'm running through "Shardik" by Richard Adams again. It's not written that well, but it has an interesting story. Definitely not his best book.

I liked The Mayfair witches better than the Vampire chronicles too. Demon Plauge by Joried McFate is really good. Here is author's site where you can read a sample.

Please tell me Snow Crash is better than Cryptonomicon. I got through the first 50 pages of that one, but his writing is so godawful that I couldn't stumble along with him through any more of a very interesting story.
