Now if that computer that you were typing to your wife on was paid for by you, Scott, then I think you've probably got some more ammunition in case you decide to seek legal action, but if that computer was paid for by MN, then I believe they are entitled to record and review any and all usage of that computer. If they did indeed pay for it, and you thought you had rights to privacy that you didn't, that is really more your naivete than anything else.

I certainly hope that both sides of this situation will take some time to stop and reflect on their actions, and consider the possible consequences both in terms of legal issues and in terms of how the "community" perceives the situation.

every logging of actions and/or communication without knowledge of the person in question over here is illegal and could not be used in lawsuits. no matter who bought the computer.

you have to tell the person that you are going to log his actions.

so he would have good chances winning a lawsuit here, cause what MN did (if they did it) would have been illegal.

I wonder if MN will reply to this thread.

Also: are you planning on sueing them for the e-mail they sent out?

To me the email has done MN harm. I would not promote them or want to do anything with them for sending out that email.

It was unprofessional.

I do not care if you did anything or not. No firm should have done that. Its the sort of thing a 6 year old would do.

You basically just repeated what I said:

All I can say is good luck Scott, you will be much better off!

Even though I believe both sides of the story are at fault, because of the way MN conducts business, I will be starting to remove my links.

i dont know of the private details of this case but in all fairness here's what most likely happened..

For whatever reason MN was unsatisfied with scott's performance, ( maybe even complaints about being blown off via icq ) so MN thought , maybe we should review his icq logs and see how he talks to affiliates/potential affiliates , and saw scott slamming them on icq ( not knowing who he is speaking to ). Thus they think he is hruting their rep.. bam your fired , and the rest is history..

mind you i dont know any of the details but...

If the company is based in the US(i have no idea if they are or not) they can do anything they want regarding the privacy of your communications on their network and machine(s). Outside the US, see your applicable laws.

I used to read other employee's mail for a living...

Making fake plane tickets is a BIG no-no and you could get them in some serious Federal trouble if that is true.... hope you still got them.

Yes, indeed, in the US there is an implicit acceptance of corporate monitoring when an employee uses company property...

but that's not my point.

My point is that neither Scott nor MensNiche need to have unnecessary drama on the board or in business.

If so, send all of your affiliates to me

I'll kick you down handsomely
and maybe we both can have a GREAT laugh over the entire experience-

Oh and don't forget the part about me telling you so

Oh and KK while your post was very well thought out, and professional- it doesn't change the fact that Scott was working for ungrateful, little ASSHOLES.

As I did a year ago-
I was fortunate enough to cut my losses and go to a better Pill sponsor
http://www.joebucks.com/kb
and I am happy to say I got the last laugh, just like I know Scotty will-

Best of luck Scott- and if you still have my pics form last year, send them over
You know, the ones that Darren posted on the web of my huge cock?
:-))
Forget about all that
I want to hear more about the fake PLANE TICKET

I have no respect for MN. For a professional company, they handled pretty much everything wrong. They should be embarrased for they way the dealt with this situation.

I will never promote MN.

Best wishes Scott.

When you are always right, like I am, I get great satisfaction from hearing it time and time again- it never gets old, just like the sound of my own name LOL!

I have had a ton of problems with some clients
I voice my opinion and call them dirtbags when I need to-
Then I get ridiculed for being a big mouth and not seeing the big picture that the people I am bashing are "great people cause they bought someone a drink in Vegas"
blah blah blah-

Everyone I have taken issue with or had an issue with- turned out to be scumbags in the eyes of a lot of people 6 mos to a year later....

So, am I ahead of the game?
Am I the only one who has a bullshit meter that is always 100% correct?

Who have I blasted unfairly?

AVN?
MN?
Aly?
NATS?
Flying Croc and Andy Edmond?
Danza?

Scott I feel for you because you are a married man with responsibilities-
I am a single guy, who was subcontracted- who told them to stick it a year ago:-))
Onward and upward my friend
and there willalways be room for a guy like you with
http://www.joebucks.com/kb
What you thought I wouldn't try to spam it again?

it is sad when you hear of shit like that and company's act so unprofessionally. In the mainstream world this would be a huge law suit - yet here in the adult world - just another story added to the pile of mistreated sales people - rude companies and ego's

a very sad story and I do hope the best for you

KB,

I am not here to defend Mens Niche but don't come off like they screwed you and you worked there for along time, let's get real here people.

1. As I said in the other thread from a couple of days ago - I would have never wrote an email like that for the public viewing, I think Darren and crew see that mistake now.

2. I like Scott, we have never had any problems.

3. I like Darren and his crew at mens niche, As I said before we have ever had an issue or problem with them and we do Tons of business every day with MN.

I didn't really want to post on this thread as I don't want to get in the middle and frankly it's none of my business.

I do belive that Mens niche runs a great operation and takes care of there affiliates almost 24/7. They have always been been very professional with us and I belive there probably #1 or #2 in this industry - of the products they sell.

So anyways - I go with what KK said - do we all need to air our dirty laundry on the boards?

I hope Scott and MN can work through these problems - but it's there biz and not ours.

Peace

Todd

That is one fucked up situation. I am sure it sucks now but soon enough you will look back and laugh about it . Just be true to yourself and things will turn out ok.
Good luck

I've known Darren and Andy for a long time and have never had any problems with them at all. That being said, I also never worked for them.

I can assure you though, that I would NEVER work for a company where I wasn't able to offer constructive criticism, especially if company decisions could potentially affect my income. If what you say is true, it's indicative of a horrible management team and I would have been LONG gone.

Besides listening to their employees opinions (not necessarily implementing, but certainly listening) a good management team accepts 100% of the responsibility when one of their employees fucks up...and then deals with it internally. They also pass all of the credit ON to their employees for every success...then privately, pat each other on the back and reap the rewards and benefits.

edit-A BAD management team btw blames everyone but themselves when things fail and take ALL the credit when things go great.
