"Oh no, not an internet petition!" said G.W. Bush as he trembled in the face of such formidable opposition.

Of all the things my country has done re-electing GWB was the one that most embarrases me.

Clinton abused his power. The so called "friend to women" was really a sociopath who used women, and a sick bastard who abused his political power to defame Paula Jones and deny her a fair trial. He committed real crimes in office including perjury, subornation of perjury, filing a false affidavit, obstruction of justice, etc.. The chief law enforcement officer of our country was a bigger sleazeball than any pimp on this board.

Why do you only single out GWB for "lies?" If the CIA, the US Congress, the US State Department, and Kerry, and Clinton, and foreign intelligence services all believed Saddam had WMD, why would you single out Bush?

I mean, why.. unless you were a hater or a member of the Looney Left?

Personally, I'm a 70%er. I don't bing with either lunatic fringe.....That is the 70% of the middle-of-the-road moderates in the USA.

But, I don't like what Bush, the Christo-Naziis, and the Republicans have done to this country.....

Reagan and Bush are both murderous assholes, in case nobody remembers Iran-Contra. He funded a secret war and death squads in Nicaragua against the will of the congress and the american people, took credit for the fall of the USSR when it was just the result of 50 years of containment, and sabotaged Bush the elder's presidency by taking out short term high interest loans timed to come due when his Presidency expired. He was no hero and he wasn't that loved in his time, but there's been a HUGE push to rehab and glorify him by Republicans that apparently is working quite well judging by this thread.

Truth is, if he hadn't claimed not to know what was happening in his administration during Iran Contra, he would have been impeached, so your choices concerning Reagan are that he was 1. Senile and unaware or 2. a criminal who waged a covert war and lied to congress about it. Take your pick.

That's the problem, he won't testify anywhere under oath. Him or Cheney.
For a white house that said it was gonna bring back honor and dignity, they sure seem to hide from telling the truth under oath alot.
9-11 comission, Valerie Plame, but why should they. The repubs wouldn't even put the oil execs under oath when they testified before congress.

Kiddies, companies are now running our country, not the people.

There are plenty people who rememeber that well in Latin America - they lost a fair number of family members.

A casual accquantance who now lives in Costa Rica and who was trained by the "School of Americas" was heavily involved on the borders of Nico and present at meetings there with North.

His thoughts on history are.. well "vicious". He was involved in a substantial amount on behalf of the US govt over his lifetime and did some of their dirty work in the process and also made regular trips to Vietnam to collect people the US govt decided to ignore. He basically does not trust anything he's told and got little more than contempt for his "hirers".

He's actually a very nice guy for a trained "sorter" (read killer) and well-balanced.

The funny thing is that conservatives always think they are so superior. That's your problem, small dicks and a big ego. If it wasn't for us loony liberals, blacks would still be segregated, women couldn't vote, and you would be living in the confederate states of america.

Oh, I should listen to Rush/Hannity. I'll get on that right away.

Everyone in this country should be outraged with the way this administration has handled itself. While you're defending Bush, he's waging an illegal war while giving this country away to the Chinese, and filling the pockets of the people who put him in power. Shame on you. If you weren't a complete ignoramous you surely would be treasonous.

Yep Scooter Libby just lied to the grand jury because he likes to lie. You conservatives are a funny bunch. Rove lied and then recanted right before he was gonna be charged.Smart man that Rove guy.

There is a big difference between the 2 leaks. The first one was for political purposes to payback someone who was telling the truth about a Bush lie.
The other person was outing the truth about abuse of power by Bush. Big difference.

Before 2004 I just loved bush of any kind.

He lied, or he mispoke? He knew they had his notes in evidence, yet he would tell a contradiction underoath when he knew something in his notes said differently. This so called lie wouldnt of made a difference either way, what good would it have done to lie about it? You make no sense.

Stop wasting good bandwidth with shit.

Courts/juries will decide on the guilt or innocence - not the usual bullshit "he said, she said" and deviant patriotic base level at GFY. Who gives a fuck whether they are one party or another - they commit offenses, they pay the price. That's called democracy btw.

Shame we dont live in an actuall democracy. There wont be a single charge filed over this. Why? There was no crime. If there was guess we will need to put Clinton on trial too. This is standard practice. I aint worried about it thats for sure. Why am I not worried about it? I dont call Afganistan, or Iraq, or Jordan, or Palestine. Thats the ones that get listened to. Not to mention anyone that says certain key words get flagged and recorded. This is done to any potential call made by anyone. This is a worthless, stupid, and very transparent attempt to again bash Bush.

think outside the box please.. i dont understand you man.

It's like Bill Mahr said; Bush could have been holding the leash in those prison torture pictures and his supporters would still find a way to explain it away.

It's bizarre.

read before you continue to make a fool out of your self:

http://www.fas.org/irp/agency/doj/fisa/

Is it also legal to transmit and share the collected data with all levels of law enforcements and para-public orgs ????

I hope it is, because this is what they did.

Meanwhile, I am happy that you are happy about that... The day they make a typo mistake and pick you up to ship to Egypt, I will be rolling in laughter till my bladder exploses ....

Yes cause I do feel so bad that a few prisoners were caused to be treated like Frat pledges. Waaaa!!! A dog leash.... Waaaa!! panties on my head. How will I live. Of course it was ok that Saddam performed castrations, and beheadings, and cut of limbs, and threw people off roofs dressed like superman. Those silly little insurgents are lucky we dont do things like bamboo splints under the fingernails, and water torture. Bunch of friggin pansies in this country.

you're all for torture, permanent imprisonment without ever going to trial or being charged, letting the govt wiretap anyone they want without a warrant.

I think China might be a more appropriate fit for you. Get the fuck out of my country.

Explain what you are trying to say better and I will respond. Not sure what the Federation of American scientists has to do with anything here. The patriot act was made to ensure that all levels of law enforcement could easily share information.

How about NO wiretapping of american citizens without going to at least a secret FISA court? Is the President allowed to make his own rules? Is he a King or an elected official?

Torture, domestic spying, secret wars, spending 200 billion of OUR dollars capturing the wrong guy is all ok with you but lying about getting a blowjob isn't?

You weird fucker.
