Cell phone companies are charging us $1.00 or more (Verizon Wireless charges $1.49 per call plus minutes) for 411 / information calls when they don't have to.

When you need to use the 411 / information option, simply dial 1 800 FREE 411 or
1 800 373 3411 without incurring a charge at all except for the minutes required to make the call.

All you have to do is tell the op that you just called and you were given the wrong number and if they could please give you a credit. It always works, not that I would ever do anything like this

Send a text message to 466453(GOOGLE) with your query and don't even bother using minutes.

Usually responds back within seconds (faster then a phone call).

the only thing that sucks is it does not connect you to the #. i know when i'm driving i dont have time to be writting a # down. i like how cingular will connect you to the #.
