Paycom and MeatHoles don't mix (drama)
i've been arguing with Paycom for a few days now about this...
here's an excerpt from their email to me on the subject: -------------------------------------------------------------------------- As far as doing business with XXXPlugIns/MeatCash that is not a problem. Providing access to www.meatholes.com is a problem. The owner of www.meatholes.com is aware of the issues of new members accessing their site. Please remove access to www.meatholes.com on all your sites and contact us when this is done. Thank you for your quick response to the requested removal. Regards, Paycom Compliance -------------------------------------------------------------------------- it seems that if i process with paycom, i am no longer allowed to have the leased plugin feed for MeatHoles in my members areas... they refuse to tell me why and are making me remove links forget about this being fair, is this even legal?

Why wouldn't it be legal? Apparently they don't find MeatHoles to be in compliance with their guidelines?

If Paycom deems the content on Meatholes to be obscene and could jeopardize their merchant account status with Visa/MC, I could see that as a reasonable request. After all, members subscribing through your service (via Paycom) accessing Meatholes could be seen as a way to access obscene materials and put paycom at risk. It seems like a fair request to me if that's the case.

anyhow, just wanted to vent more than anything...
it's reasons like this that Paycom will always be a back-up biller for me, nothing more unless of course CCBill are DDOSed, then it's a 3-second flick of the switch in NATS ![]()

Paycom is a business, and they have to run it as they see fit, which is generally in the best interest of all their customers. CCBill and every other processor does the same thing. They're not all going to always agree on what's best and what's not.
I'd rather have them tell me there's a problem, rather than just suspending my account. |

Damn that sucks I can understand them wanting it down if it means thier business being harmed but at the very least they should explain to you why, It's the professional thing to do.

Easton,
First, I must say that posting an email sent directly to you which includes the name of another program isn't the wisest thing to do. I'm sorry if you don't understand this or if you disagree with any policies that we have put forth to protect not only you and your business, but the businesses of all clients that we process for. Further, although we are not looking to be in a position of saying what is and what isn't appropriate, we also reserve the right to restrict the types of sites that we process for. And yes, to be clear, you can't link to any restricted site any more than you can link to beastie sites or CP. Linking may be construed as affiliation to any governing or regulatory body that might look at your site.

My guess is that we are going to see more and more of this. This is normal, they wanna protect their asses. Before, once you got approved by the bank, you could pull pretty much anything on them... I bet they will monitor the shit very closely from now on with all the heat on this industry

Have you discusssed this with anyone at EPOCH after getting the email?
My dealings with them in the past have always reached a workable solution. Good luck.
