Google updating?

There must be some serious shifting going on. Several of my sites jumped in the SERPS so high, I'm literally getting pounded with traffic.

google updates constantly. you think they do all their updating all at once? think about it. and think about computer processing power, etc.

yea, I have the same problem, normally I use 20-30 mbps, lately it's been up to 80-90mbps, if this continues I'll have to start redirecting those google surfers...

I can't take this thread seriously...
Try Matt Cutts' blog - he is Googles head of quality and usually posts when they are doing a major change to the algo - they do currently update every day so not surprising that people see changes. More importantly if you read his blog, you will find out that they are doing some major renovation with results that have added some 16 billion new pages to the index
