Well one of those hippies became president in the 90's which saw a great economic upturn (coincidentally right after Bush Sr. left), saw no significant terrorist attacks on the country during his term, didn't start any large wars and didn't totally fuck up simple tasks like getting food and water to disaster victims. Bush Jr. took care of these oversights however

What about his bombings of Serbia, Iraq, and Afghanistan? At least George W. Bush is tryig to finish what he started. Clinton started on many of these 'small wars' to distract people from his personal scandals and when the media looked the other way abandoned them.

Cole bombings ring a bell? First attack on World Trade center? There are more, but dont feel like wasting braincells on a brainless lib.

First off the USS Cole bombing wasn't a 'terrorist' attack, it was an attack on a military vessel... Yes there was the first WTC attack but that wasn't really anything very significant compared to the second attack in 2001.

A few military skirmishes here and there are likely to occur during any presidency no matter who is in office or what party they are in... but surely you're not trying to compare minor involvements in serbia etc that incurred minimal loss of US lives and US tax dollars to the Iraq scandal?

Ive always been under the understanding that an attack perpetrated by terrorists, would be considered a terrorist attack. Especially since it was done by Al Queda..

I think the definition has been updated where you just call anyone who doesn't agree with you a terrorist (or you can call them evil, baddies etc) - its much neater like this, because then you can invade new countries and spread democracy. One day we'll have an entirely democratic middle east.

Ah, so then it's only a war if it is defined as a war by the Geneva convention. Therefore by your reasoning prior to the Geneva convention there were no wars, only terrorists.
