You can spend hours, days weeks working on getting your site rated higher on the SE and lose money hand over fist.

Because traffic is not king, converting it is.

Work at getting the site to convert the surfers who arrive, then get affiliates who know the traffic business to send surfers. They will soon realise 1000 hits sent to you will make them more money than 2000 sent to a site that converts like shit.

Yes the site owner makes money out of exit and other means, but how much does the affiliate earn?

Google is weird. I have site with hundreds of backlinks stuck with pr 1 for years and SE spam sites with 1000s of bullshit keyword catcher pages with pr 2
