Bought a new server.. is it worth it?
I bought a Dell Poweredge 2600 today (3x36gb hd 2gb ram dual 2.0ghrtz processors etc) I paid $1000CA and dont know much about prices on servers.. was it worth it? Also if anyone has harddrives for sale let me know, im looking for 1TB+

When buying servers ( NOT from an hosting company ) I usually buy them without drives, and without memory, as that's usually where they fuck you on the price.
For that system tho, I'd say you got a pretty good deal. |
