Oh so he's one of the bunch of mint sweet guitar center guys... i know the type.
My girlfriends dad is the same hehehe... 30 guitars that are worth more than his house! But he only plays his old beat up Fat Strat hehehe... Im more of the beat up 67 SG (which as stated above incorrectly) is not the cheaper version of Les Paul, two diffeent guitars designed with different cut aways for seperate things. I like my guitars beat to shit old and tone, not custom with vintage bursts hehehe... I dont play it if it dont have scratches, then again, music is my "real life" career... this just pays the bills. ;)

I have seen him put a guitar under the bed for two years to keep anyone from scratching it. LOL He now has a Jackson Kelly Tiger striped explorer type guitar (like a wine red color)......... some of these I know I won't get right because I am not the buff he is.. He has a Hamer all natural explorer A Hamer all black with white binding Explorer A Gibson Wine Red, 2000 Edition with White Binding The Cherry Sunburst is a 1982, I THINK is right A Charvel #5 Custom Made Black Cherry with a Kahler I know I am missing something Oh yeah...... a VERY old..... like 1964 or 1965, Gibson Accoustic, that is an odd guitar, it only has 4 strings on it... and no two aren't missing, it was made that way....... We picked that up for $65 from some old man that was moving to Florida and cleaning out his attic. LOL There, I THINK that is it. His babies........ The Les Pauls, he doesn't take out much, he is very protective of them. LOL

Im a total gear whore myself, but I dont put my shit under beds? Does he ever do a show or something? Or is it hobby, that might be the difference hahaha... I spill more beer on my guitars than he prolly drinks! And thats what Gibson is for, guitars aremt made to collect, Gibson makes guitars for the durability for touring and their tonality, hehehe not to be under beds... then again, if people didnt collect em, they wouldnt be worth anything I suppose... Tam, as I said, two different kinds of people...
I play, and play hard, and when the shit gets going it gets messy. I work with many bands in the Hollywood area, being an ex intern in Studios myself and moving up to running our own recording studio and working with other musicians locally, as i said, *music* is my career, webmaster just pays the bills... Thumbalina..... that is awesome...... you can say what you want about women going the extra mile and blah blah blah...... but it is alot of a two way street. If we are treated with dignity, respect and such, there is literally NOTHING we won't do for our men... or anyone else for that matter. Ok, not all of us, like men, there are some seriously nasty women out there that are self serving, as there are men........ but when you are lucky enough to find a mate, like I have, that will give you the moon and stars, then the desire to give that back is immense. I am happy for you. I am sure it meant every bit as much to you as this did to my husband. That's just awesome.
And I know all too well about other things coming first. Years ago we were homeless and he had to sell his Wine Red Custom to get us back here where we could get back on our feet, he made a sacrifice for me and my kids and that said SOOO much to me, so it has been all important for me to be in a place where I could replace some of what he gave up for us. Also Tam - I dont know ANY real musicians who buy guitars online, most guitar players want to play it and get to know it before buying it, if they are really into playing.
They're too many un commonalities amongst guitars to pay 1300 on ebay for one. Not a good idea for serious musicians, and anyone who knows this knows I am right. Dont buy guitars online. Play the first.

He is goal oriented as well as hobby if this makes ANY sense at all. He has been offered many many times to go on the road and play but he has this thing about not wanting to be seperated from us the amount of time that all of that entails. He has a best friend that has Toured with KISS, Greg Allman, Meatloaf, and GOD only knows who else........ and they were inseperable as kids and as young adults, however....... he didn't want to be seperated from us whenever the time came to make that move. I begged him to go for it, his talent is amazing and he writes as well as he plays. He is just more of a home body than most men are.
He played with literally everyone around here and had offers all over the place..... BUT there again, that not wanting to leave hime thing hit. I wanted him to go so he would never have to "wonder" about it and I didn't want to ever be the reason for his not taking that chance, but in the end the decision was his and his alone. He now has other avenues he is going to explore, this meaning he wants to write, produce and mix down all of his own music. All he needs is the drums and he will have it all settled and can begin down that road, it will be a totally new road for him to travel and I am very excited about his doing this. He is one of those people who can just sit here watching TV and spit out some of the most amazing shit that blows my mind. LOL Yeah I know I sound a little proud of him, but I am........ because he decided against the road, not many will know his talent on the level that I know it. What he is watching ebay for right now is for HIS baby to show up on there... the one he sold in 97 to feed us and get us back home. LOL Bliz..... we only gave $1300 for the Cherry and $2300 for the Wine Red....... LOL

Fletch... I have a picture that Earl Brown painted for me in Art Class years and years ago, but my fucking Dad won't let me have it back...... he swears to people that *I* painted it and I didn't. Earl, who I guess lives in Hollywood somewhere now, is now an actor but when he was in High School he played in my husband's band......... that fucker from what I understood could sing like a bitch. He isn't the one who was offering my hubby the places in his band and on the road, but everytime I see him in a movie I have to laugh........... that is now TWO members in his band that have made it. The other is in a band called The Screemin Cheetah Wheelies....... you may or may not have heard of them, but they have done ALOT of touring........ the drummer, Terry, and my hubby were childhood friends and all three of these guys had HUGE aspirations of being the biggest and best band in the world.
Strange how little twists and turns can take you to whole different avenues huh? LOL My mother in law, GOD, she would kill to get her hands on those pants....... as well as what was in them, she had the most amazing crush on David Lee Roth. I used to laugh til I hurt at her the way she drooled over him. This woman was a fucking trip. lol

Well I dont want you to think he sits around debating with a razor, no.
But he is a very very very aggressive, mean drunk, and likes to break very expensive things, even if they are not his, and when people like this get going, sometimes they go too far, and he has been on that edge of debating with some method of ending what he doesnt seem to know is the problem. People like this are always sad deep inside, most of the people I know are successful and yet they hold on to that bit of self destuctiveness only to maintain the sadness that fuels the over-ego. Ill quote him in my favorite song of his....
