Good point, Matt. We'll look into executing this within a reasonable period of time. I appreciate your positive and well-reasoned input.

Whatever you say guys, but you can't deny KR's campaign IS effective.
it's just like email spam - everybody hates it, but it still works.

Moreover it will take much time for the community to forget what "klikrevenue sigwhore" means even if they stop lurking here.

You make ppl talk about your product - positively or negatively - and you sell it like hot cakes.

Why is this any surprise? People need to realize that in this biz (and most), it all comes down to money and morals/ethics be damn'd (Yahoo, MSN and Google have all shown this, not to mention Enron and all the smoking companies). Gene has shown in his various blog articles that he is not really a friend of the WM community, i.e. articles about how to cheat TGP owners. He's just here to make money from the same people he teaches others to cheat.

This board is "supposed" to be a WM community. But the board allows these non webmasters to post.. why? To be the #1 board and to get the advertising dollars. How about the number of fake nicks that various mods and others have even with the 1 nick per person rule? why? more posts, more activity thus more revenue. It's all about money people. Take the blinders off. And.. bottom line.. if you don't like it, hang out somewhere else.

Actually, you have a point there . . . maybe.

Depends on how many paid posters there are. If there are only 3 no big deal, but if there are 30, or 300 I might be a little concerned if I was paying for advertising here.

I hear you.... You always have to analyze a site before buying advertising... Take for axample a lot of the TGPs. A number of them inflate their true traffic numbers...

How? They buy crappy skimmed traffic. Anyone that's dealt with that traffic knows that only 10%-30% will actually stick around and click things. Hell, I know of one group of TGPs that either own or have close affiliations with a free host or 2 and get a ton of 404 ETC. traffic from there.

The site also sticks their counter as high up on the page as they possibly can. Why? Because a good 10%-20% of the surfers will stop a page from loading and go away, but if the counter is way up there it will still load and count them.

And lastly, they open the galleries in the same window as the site. Why? because a certain percentage of surfers will cause a reload when they go back to the site and this inflates the visitor numbers.

Keep in mind also that a good 10%-20% of returning surfers will be recounted as a "unique" visitor even if they're not.

When you look at a sites counter stats, you need to look at the difference between the raws and uniques. A site that has a shit load of raws compared to uniques is using some of these techniques. A site where the raw number is closer to the unique number is using less of them.

So it all adds up and the majority of WMs in this business don't know about or understand these techniques. They'd rather spend advertising with a site that claims they get 300k visitors as opposed to 150k although in reality, the 150k site may have the exact same number of "real" clicking and buying visitors.

And there endith the lesson.

Regarding this thread:

Webmasterlabor.com provides board post services and we provide both board population and board post campaigns. Each campaign is different. Our board post services are different from our article, blog, data analytics, traffic management, traffic generation, and tons of other mainstream text, data, and traffic services.

I do understand there is a lot of HEAT generated by the KR posters' earlier posts but we're continuously working on improving their posts. There is a growing difference between their earlier posts and more current posts. I'm sure our outsourced posters are not the only paid posters on this and countless other boards. It is also undeniable that paid outsourced posting is one of the trends facing the industry. If anyone is aggrieved by the KR postings early on, please accept our apologies and our assurance that we continuously seek to improve quality. We have definitely LEARNED VOLUMES over the life of this particular campaign and actively aim to put them into practice.

I must strenuously emphasize that whatever problems people may have with the KlikRevenue posters rests SOLELY with my company and our posters and NOT with KLIKREVENUE.

Best Regards,

Gene aka $5 Submissions

Are they webmasters? Do they run sites? DO they know ANYTHING about the industry?

If not, why the FUCK are they here?

We been approached before by some people re: leasing employees to "whore" some boards.

Well, we decided not to since it will affect us in the long run.

Biz is biz but orchestrating to spam the boards is purely annoying.

Getting money to shit around fellow webmasters you know tells me what character you got buddy

What REALLY pisses people off is when the non-business people (KR posters and such) come into these threads with their utter bullshit one line posts. I don't think anyone really cares if they whore in the other threads.

A good solution would be for the KR whores to stay out of business threads since there is a ZERO chance of them ever contributing to them.

You realize this board is populated by so many non industry people in the first place? I mean really......A lot.
