What to Install ? MPA3 or NATS?

Now I realize that this post is still pretty active, and that this topic is probably getting a little old.

However, not many people have given the reasoning behind their preference. So, if you are familiar with both programs and you do have a preference, which is it? And why?

I can tell you that we use MPA3 and their support rocks, every addtional feature that I have requested has been done in no time.

I agree 100%.

We researched both back in December and found customers of both to be happy with the product but could not find a NATS customer that didn't say "product is great but good luck getting any support if you need it"

I sent 2 emails contacting Nats about meeting at the Vegas show to talk about going with them and still have heard nothing from them.

Had a very nice meeting with Oystein in Vegas and he made me very comfortable putting my business with MPA3.

We are in the set up process now and will launch MPA3 at the Phoenix Forum.

Support seems to be the only difference I could find between the two companies.

Exactly!!

I am NOT a computer guy at all, I just own the damn company and pay MikieMike to know how to do everything!

So when I commit I wanted to know I could call anytime and get help if needed. The fact that NATS didn't even follow up on a sales lead did not make me feel comfortable with putting my biz with them. If I was a computer WIZ like some on this board I might not have cared as much.

Your request was recieved Jan 2nd and is marked as replied to. Sorry if the reply was not received and this is the only correspondence I see from you. We are also always available on icq and via telephone unlike many adult companies.

Regarding our clients. Many are happy, a few will always be unhappy from time to time, thats part of life. If you'd like references please let me know. I highly doubt you contacted a large cross section and got that reply from everyone.

You know where BiminiBucks is based out of and can probably figure out what friends we have that are LARGE and successful companies using NATS. And as I said before they ALL said they loved NATS. But they also ALL said that support is very lacking. I trust my friends and based my choise to go with MPA3 off of there advise. I am sure they also kept in mind the fact that I might require more support than the average customer.

I do find it funny that the only response I have ever gotten from NATS is one to defend themselves on GFY.

After reviewing all the options and talking to a lot of people, we selected MPA3 for v.2 of our program, and we couldn?t be happier. We?re still in transition mode, but so far we love it and the support has been outstanding.

I wasn't defending anything. I was saying I received one quote request from you and it was replied to and appologized that you did not receive it.

I wish you the best of luck with your program and mpa

Also, I'm also curious who've spoken with. Feel free to post them here, icq me, 5596373, email me, albright[]toomuchmedia[]com, or call the office, 732-385-1536 x111. Though I'd bet you'll say you'd rather not say who you spoke with.

LOL your really pushing it here and for no reason.

You know where I am located and you know who your clients are. If you would like to contact anyone to offer them better service, than I am sure you have a list of client contact info to do so. It is a bit silly for you to ask me to post a list of MY friends that are unhappy with YOUR support. Seems to me a more professional approach would be for you to contact me privately via ICQ or email if you have any questions.

The man simply asked for opinions on both companies and I told him mine.

I'm not pushing anything. I simply asked you something. I don't know who your friends are and I'm not going to randomly contact clients in your geographic area. If you don't want to do it thats fine. I didn't specifically ask to you post them. I offered you three other methods also.

But you're right. This is quite silly. Again, I wish you the best of luck

Well now I can't let it go. Your responses make me very happy with my choice to go with MPA3.

John if you were really interested in who I talked to so that you might help them with any customer support issues, you would simply contact me privately to see if I will give you any info.

Instead you continue to post in some vain attempt to make it seem like there are no issues with NATS support. A cassual glance at any thread like this and you will see a very common theme in these discusions..............."NATS is an awsum product but is lacking in customer support"

Seems to me if you spent as much time trying to fix this support problem as you are posting reponses to me on GFY, it would be time much better spent.

But hey thats just my

And you continue to make me happy you went with MPA also. There are always issues from time to time with any company's support. We are no exception.

You are assuming that is why I am posting what I am posting when it is not. Everyone around here seems to think they know why everyone else does what they do.

Again, the best of luck.

Thanks for the feedback

Oystien and John have both been in contact with me and both have been extremely helpful

Unfortunately I'm still sitting on the fence with the one.

I would suggest that you make your choice based on what you need for your program, which company you feel more comfortable with, and perhaps by talking privately to people using either program to get an idea of their opinions off the boards.

No one that uses either program is going to come out and say that either of them is anything but fantastic in public for the most part.

Both good platforms ,even better than anything you can find in mainstream including the most expensive ones.

About nats support, I'll tell you our admin (not a guy that you can bs him) says that nats support is very good and whatever we request gets done and has no complaints
