Texas is a beautiful place, and President Bush may very well believe that extending an invitation to his ?private residence? is sending a stronger message than inviting dignitaries to D.C, however, I would like to note that since Roosevelt, the White House has proven to be an invaluable home-court advantage, a humbling city, and proven ground for diplomatic activities.

I pay for my president to hold office in Washington D.C. We, as taxpayers, have paid tens of millions of dollars to build and maintain a place of prestige and beauty in D.C. only to find we are paying to shuttle staff from D.C to Texas on what seems to be a weekly basis.

If i dont recall clinton was on vacation and trips to camp david all the time... Who cares.... I am sure there is no vacation like we know it just dealing with the issues at a different location.
