epassporte = greedy :\

I called them up to get a new electron card issued because mine is all worn out and it cant even be read via card swipe machines anymore...

well I call them up and they tell me I have to get a new card issued from the website. I hang up, goto website, epass website saids that I already have an Electron Card issued and to call Customer Support (LOL, tards). I call customer support back and get the SAME GUY I TALKED TO THE FIRST TIME and he puts me on hold for around 5 min then comes back and saids i'll have to spend another $35 to get a new card. paypal gives you atm/debt card for free...how can epass justify a 35 fee...fucking greedy cocksnugglers. no way in fuck am I going to spend another 35 bucks to get a new card, I simply refuse. epass should issue me another one for free.

what a load of shit. I have to spend another 35 bucks because epass's atm/debt cards are of shitty quality and deteriorate fast. I've had my paypal card about two years longer then i've had my epassporte card and my Paypal card looks brand new still. I have a 1k+ balance in my acct right now and they treat me like this..wtfux...

in two days I can assure you it will be a 0 balance.

The rules are that if you want a new card issued you need to pay the fee for a new card.

Yes someone is reading and in this case there really isn't anything to solve.
A new card costs $35 nofx won't pay that and will take his business elsewhere not really much to do about that.

Damn that was a cold answer.

Epassporte gets money every time the card is used. They also get thirty five bucks to issue and send out the card, and we all know there is a profit margin in that as well.
Is it not possible that they can take the extra hit and actually use part of that thirty five bucks for a card quality that is at the very least one step above playing card durability.

ePassporte don't have fees to receive money do you run to Paypal complaining about this?

Every business has to make money somehow and if your card is worn out you will need to pay to have a new card issued or you can wait until the card expires and you receive a new card when you pay the yearly fee.

If he had contacted me I could have explained the situation to him and told him why it is like this. Instead it was easier to run to the boards and start BS.


And the old grey cards have been replaced with a new card off a better quality.

No offense to epassporte, but the cost of keeping a customer here is a mere $35 that you should be able to waive for a damaged card. The ongoing revenues you could make from someone loading and purchasing from their cards should outweigh this. If you want to prevent abuse of people ordering lots of cards (that's the only reason I can see for the fee), then have the client return the damaged card once he receives the new one.

so, if the old cards have been replaced with a better card, then that means you all know they are shitty cards...why not be nice and issue a statement that states "if the old ones get worn out we would be happy to replace it because we know the old were of such crappy quality"?

I called first, the guy I talked to obviously didnt know shit about shit and told me I had to goto the epassporte website and fill out a form to get a new card.

I hang up, I goto site, the site informs me to call the same customer support number I had just called.

if epass wanted my fucking biz they would see how frequently I use epass, how much my balance is, how long i've had my card and been a member and they would fucking comp me the new card fee cost....sadly they did not and rather be greedy and steal their users money at any chance they can get.

I would never run a business like that. I am not some retard newbie epassporte user who uses epassporte once a month...I use it weekly if not daily.

Epass should really work towards creating a better card. My numbers wore off within 4 month of ownership. You guys should lay off of Keyser Soze as he is just an employee. Do all of your bitching to those who make the choices over there.

Thanks, I'm sure Chris would agree with the idea. I mean you want to prevent abuse of issuing un-necessary cards, so if a customer doesn't return the damaged one, charging the replacement fee makes sense. But if a card is genuinely damaged, it should be no issue to get it replaced at epass' cost since you guys obviously make more on the loads/transfers than card replacements. Just my thoughts...

If you had contacted me and treated me the same way I wouldn't do anything extra for you either.

If you had contacted me explaining that the numbers wore off and you use the card daily been a member for long and asked if it was possible to get a new card for free, then maybe I would have tried to help you.

Totally agree brizzard!

It seems to depend on the attitude of the client being pissed off as to whether balanced constructive customer support is available or not. It does not matter one damn if the customer is annoyed or not - the easiest and most profitable route is get ass moving and solve the problem instead of having to defend and justify the service on a chat board.

the guy didnt know what he was talking about because he told me to goto the website and fill out a non existent form in order to recieve a new card. how come the CUSTOMER SUPPORT person told me wrong directions?

No I am saying that if you had contacted me or made a thread asking why you had to pay $35 for a new card, I would have started a dialog with you and I would have tried to work something out if possible.

Oh dear God man. When you buy a fucking $35 card from any company don't you expect it to fucking work reasonably? If he lost the motherfucker yes fine rules are rules. His fucking card doesn't work and the FIRST thing you should be doing is trying to fix it regardless of his attitude. You should be doing this moreso BECAUSE he said he is leaving over it. Instead you use that as an excuse to not do a damn thing. Maybe the POS was made defective, is he responsible for that too? No damn atm card should be worn out in a reasonable amount of time and even if the rules are $35 you should be up somebodys ass to get it replaced for free.

Again I say, fucking pathetic.
