Should I Wait To Buy The New Ipod Fullscreen Video or Buy The 60 Gig Ipod Video?

My ipod's battery is the shits! (It's an old model 20 gigger)

So I want to get a new Video Ipod but I heard there is a new fullscreen model coming out. Should I wait for the new model or just pick up a current model 60 gigger?

Thanks,
DH

I've got the 60 GB model. Love it. Use it daily.

If/when the fullscreen model comes out, buy it and sell your 60 GB video on eBay or Craiglist or whatever. The fullscreen model is simply a rumour at this point.

I suggest you for the new model. It make take some time but I think it's worth the wait. Been waiting for that one, too.

You have 300 posts more than me and that therefore makes you an expert on the subject? And when you say "the bay", are you talking the retail store? Because last I checked, they don't sell iPods. A close family friend is a purchasing manager for HBC and I had dinner with him and my family 2 weeks ago. He'd surely have mentioned something since, amongst other things, we were talking about iPods and PSPs.

i know you registered less than 3 months ago - that says enough
btw - my buddy in the bay - has not been wrong so far to me - he informed me of several of the new apple products (many of which i use) well before they where ever public in gossip or official - so i trust his word

Look up the definition of rumour, kiddo. It's "unverified information received from another". Until Apple confirms the launch of the product (meaning, until they verify the information), it's still a rumour.

And once again, The Bay doesn't sell iPods, so the word of your bumpal at The Bay isn't all too meaningful, regardless of his alleged "accuracy" in the past.

Anyways, DH is a grown man capable of making his own decisions. He wants an video-capable iPod now. No need for him to wait since there's one available now. And when/if the rumoured product becomes available, he simply has to upgrade. Or, he can hold out and wait. Makes no difference to me. I couldn't care less, and neither would you if I hadn't corrected you and deflated your ego in another thread.

Like I suggested, rub one out, have a glass of warm milk and take a nap, Mr. Crankypants.
