Is mainstream easier money than adult these days?

I'm working on some mainstream projects these days, and looking at the competition, there seems to be a lot more idiots at the mainstream world.

Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of idiots in adult as well - but the whole scale is different. Your average idiot adult webmaster is actually a mediocre mainstream webmaster it seems.

Yeah, the level of newbishness knows no limits in mainstream. It's kinda funny actually. Lot's of people's mothers and grandmothers even trying to figure out the whole making money on the interweb thing.

Also a lot of them come from the MLM world that was chock full of fools from the last 30 years.

many mainstream webmasters start in mlm/biz ops

those who then actually get a clue actually learn internet marketing and how to run a business

some of those then become big stuff. some just make a living

however, many mlm/biz op people just jump from one scam to another, and never get anywhere. just look at 12 daily pro. some people couldn't buy a clue, even if buying a clue was free!

What's funny is the MLM people are so trained to sign up people into their downline, only to get their referrals to buy the product they are supposed to be selling from them, that the whole affilliate setup on the internet goes completely over their heads. Actually selling the product to the public is secondary in their world.

Still, it's a big market that is very open for newcomers to make a killing in. I can see a lot of people on this board that would make a shitload of money if they focused on it instead of shitclicks.

All of online is a pot of gold. Mainstream is just a facet of it.

I agree. those who know what they're doing in adult, could do well in mainstream. and most probably vice-versa. same principles, different subject.

and yes - many people building a business in mlm don't focus on selling the product at all, their focus is getting people into the business and then getting them to autoship x amount of products each month so they qualify for commissions.

one big problem with mlm though is you spend all this time and money building an income, and it's based purely around one company.

many mlm companies go out of business for whatever reason, and if that happens suddenly you've no income. if you've thought ahead though, you contact all your downline asap and transfer them into a new deal.

I knew someone who was making $500k a year from one mlm company after pushing them for years, and then poof - they're out of business and his income goes to zero. if I remember right, the business wasn't even closed for financial reasons, but due to the owners/directors 'personal reasons'.

hey, but don't knock them. selling spades to the gold diggers has always been profitable

if you can deal with the moronic questions, biz op is a thriving market
