How long before your first sale? (TGP submissions)

I just started really putting them out about a week ago and I'm using Chameleon Submitter (Which rocks btw.) and I'm just wondering around what length time did it take most of you guys to see your first sales?

Here are my stats so far with three affiliates I'm using:

Nastydollars:

OCCash:

RealityCash:

(Really haven't been listed on any of the big guys yet, but I'm working twards that. Haven't done this since 97-98 so some things have changed for me, learning to ride a bike again so to speak.)

That would rock right about now, seems like I'm in the norm at least. I'm using some old school plain galleries (banner at the top and bottom) going for the lowest common denominator to lessen the rejections. Some TGPs have pretty weird rules, seemed a little more easy back then lol.

Thanks.

Been looking into purchasing, but haven't ever put my feet in those waters before so I'm currently going to research route.

dont give up yet, you will get some sales soon.

once you get back in the groove you will start attributing sales to this or that, and you can really fine tune your work.

Yeah I'm submitting daily and I still have galleries from last week that haven't hit yet so I'm sure it will be soon now.

Does anyone submit to sublimedirectory around here? They are doing the $4.95 a month listing fee which isn't bad, but I wonder how the traffic is with them. They NEVER listed me back in the day when it was free lol. They hated my gallerys... of course I used blind links back then as well.

These days, expect TGP traffic to convert around 1:1500.

Oh, btw, nice sig! "YGGR", LOL!

Oh... Don't miss that boat!

Get more partner accounts. Chameleon submitter is pretty useless without any.

The 3rd gallery I made was listed on World Sex, and I got a sale off it.

I'll never forget looking at my stats with sleepy eyes, and seeing a 1 instead of a 0 in the sales column.

That was justification for the 4 weeks I spent trying to figure it all out before I even tried a gallery. When I started, I'd never seen a paysite, a tgp, or a link list. The most visual online porn I'd been exposed to was when people would post pics in chat rooms. So my learning curve was pretty steep. (and I'm still learning) Simple things, like wtf a recip was, and efficiently mirroring galleries were things that I spent hours on in the beginning.

That was 2 years ago, and I am still kind of in awe of it, to be honest. It's not easy work, but it is much preferable to some of the things I've done. So I keep thinking that one morning I will wake up, the bottom will have fallen out, and that I'll have to get a 'real' job.

But that day isn't today, so it's time for me to get busy.

Good luck (and be sure to take Mr. Shemp up on his offer)

Edit: Oh, and your question about Sublime? That $4.95 bit has been up on their site since I first saw it, and I've never been able to figure out how to be able to submit to them.
