Anyone else see this fight last night on HBO? If you missed it, try to catch a replay. This was nothing short of a war. The last two rounds were amazing (as was the whole fight) - round 9 might be the Round of the Century. The best thing I can say is this was like Hagler vs Hearns, but for 10 rounds. If you are just a casual fight fan, this bout is like watching a real life Rocky movie. One for the ages.

May have been the best fight ever.
If only these two were established fighters, everyone would know about this fight.

Perhaps one of the best bouts ive seen.

I have to agree I watched this fight last night and then again tonight. This has to be one of the best all out brawls I have ever seen. I have to give serious Kudos the to Ref too for not stopping the fight a couple times when these guys were taking absolute beatings!

Absolutely amazing!

Gatti is a former champ at 130 pounds - he's known for being in dramatic wars. He's a fan favorite

Ward is another brawler - just hasn't had the name fights on HBO/etc that Gatti has over the years.

The winner (Ward) is supposed to be getting the 140 pound champ Kostya Tszyu, but they might push the title fight back, and do a Gatti re-match first.

Also, did you notice how confident Emanuel Steward (Lennox Lewis's trainer) is? He predicted an "early round knockout" of Mike Tyson. He says that not only does Lewis not like Tyson, but that he is not afraid of him, and really wants to knock Tyson out.

If I were Lewis, I would keep my head as far away from Tyson's mouth as possible when they clinch!

Terrific fight, Mickey put in alot better showing tonight than in his last rematch where he didnt' really show up.

As was said before, Gatti is definitely an established fighter, really towards the end of his career as he's been on the losing end of alot of bloodbaths in recent years.

Great show tonight, given the recent barrage of good fights with bullshit decisions on HBO.

I can't wait to see Barrera rape Prince Naseem again by the way
