I have MMA Tryouts in the morning.
I'm trying out for an MMA fight team in the morning and I can't fucking sleep.
I'm nervous because I'm 7ft tall and my knees aren't in the best shape, but I'm thinking it may not be a huge deal if I start working hard to get back into shape.. Wish me luck!

 That is the only full body pic I have and it's a little old by about 6 months or so. I was 6'6 in the 8th grade. Now I'm 7ft tall, 304lbs. I'll be fighting as a super heavy weight. It will be a while before I actually enter a cage in competition though. I need to get back into shape and train for a while to get my confidence up first.

Yeah, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't nervous. I'll have to fight guys a foot shorter and twice as solid so I know my ground game has to be insane or I'll get pounded.
I won't compete until I know I'm ready without a doubt.

guess everybody axes you this - did you have any skills to play basketball? a complete klutz at 7 foot can get a college scholarship somewhere.

Yeah, I was hounded by the coaches in school to play basketball but it just wasn't in me. I was in boxing and martial arts, played football when I was young. I never liked basketball.
