its just truth that americans have more fast food chains and take less time eating, and eating healthy, regular excersize ect.
in europe eating is an event, a get together, slow, social, far better for your health.

im lucky im a 20 yr old girl and still have wicked metabolism, but ive started to have to cut back on my fave carbs from time to time to keep slim

I'm a fat ass - but I used to be HUGE - I have lost well over 100 lbs and have more to go. I learned the secret to dropping weight and it dont cost nothing and I still get to have choclate cake and icecream. All of these diet scams are proof of people's stupidity and willingness to belive everything they are told.

Its real simple:

1. Cut soda and beer completely from your intake. They are just like cancer sticks, you miss them at first but afterwards it matters not.

2. Reduce intake of red meat to not more than 3 times a week. People who say eliminate it all together are fools. You'll have other health problems to make up for any benifiet.

3. Drink water. Learn to enjoy water. Keep water with you everywhere you go.

4. Never, and I do mean never, skip breakfast. I hate nearly all breakfast foods. So instead I bought a box of crackers. I eat three of them every single morning as soon as I roll out of bed. If you skip breakfast, your body still thinks you are asleep and lose valueable fat burning hours. You have to turn your body on.

5. Fruit: once a day, every day. Natural fruit, that is. Nothing out of a can. Avoid high fructose corn syrup at all costs (thats the shit they soak all the canned fruit in, for those unaware).

6. Potato Chips and other "eat the whole bag" foods are the devil. Fuck them. Do not buy them. If you need munchies, learn to enjoy pretzels. Or make that your fruit serving with grapes.

8. Eat a large lunch (or a large breakfast and a small lunch and dinner) and a small dinner. Just the reverse of what most Americans normally do. Food turns to fat while you sleep. Make sure there is nothing there to turn to fat.

9. Eat what you like but keep the balance in mind. Its a pendulum. You can eat cake or have a pizza every once in a while, but you have to make up for it somewhere. Its just like cheating on your wife. You can do it, and you can even get away with it for a while, but it will come back haunt you someday.

10. Buy certified organic foods and eat them often. They put posion and bacteria in regular milk. ONLY drink milk that is certified organic by a reputable source (read: NOT THE USDA). Real milk is good for you. The shit most people consume and call milk is toxic and fattening.

11. Love salads without dressing or meat toppings. Salad is dry without dressing, so wash the lettuace before you eat it. Not only does it taste fresher, but it gives it some lubrication on the way down your throat. If you really need a dressing, try a very small amount of vinagar and olive oil mixed.

America leads the way because we pioneered fast/engineered food. All the trans-fat, high fructose-ladened frankenfoods and fast-food establishments every 200 yards are killing us. These foods that aren't found in nature taste delicious, have massive calories and zero nutritional value. The rest of the affluent world is just behind America and gaining fast. why 1/2 of america is fat ... this is my take on it .. tell me if i'm wrong ;)

cause the american beef, pork and chicken industry and the fda decides
to mess around with mother nature by pumping all these steroids and
other drugs into livestock to produce more juicier and tastier types of
burgers, ribs, bbq chickens, etc. or more milk & in a massive scale

then ...

advertise daily to over 300 million people over and over again about
how you should go to McDonalds, Burger King, KFC and other big chain
companies that serve this type of food...

then ...

consuming that meat and everything that either was pumped into or ate.

when you start seeing alot of teenage girls have bigger tits than pamela
anderson and it wasn't like that 15-20 years ago, you know something's up!

that's my take on it anyways

I think you are absolutely correct. These kids are too big and developed for it to be a natural occurance. 13 year olds on basketball teams are large enough to play in the NBA.

Girls can be strippers at 12 with all the overdevelopment.

It wasn't like that when I was a teen.

Okay, I thought that was an urban legend but sure enough, doctors and nurses told me the same thing. They said they had kids hitting puberty at 9 years old. More now than they'd seen in their careers. I have to take their word for it as well as the doctors and nurses in my family that say the same damn thing.

That's fucking scary that we're altering our children's physiology with bad diets.

Back in the old countries we have relatives who drink and smoke filterless cigarettes all damn day, climb mountains, wrestle with herds and live to be 90 and 100. Bottom line is they eat home prepared meals and eat like 5 meals a day.

I'm off the fast food and restaurant shit. I looked at who was preparing the food and no one could read english for cryin' out loud.

If it's not a family restaurant that you can check on forget it. I love Italian food and I'll be making it myself from now on.

It's true, obesity is an epidemic in this country. But getting in shape has many rewards, and it can be done at any age with a little discipline. I made a rewarding lifestyle transformation in the space of one year or so with a combination of serious and consistant weighlifting, a healthier diet of home cooked meals daily, and some cardio every week. I dropped from 190 lbs. and nearly 30% body fat, more or less completely out of shape, with a gut, eating junk food and feeling like crap every day... to today, 145 lbs, much more muscular, dare I say close to ripped at less than 6% body fat, and finally sporting a defined 'six pack'. I feel and am told, I look like a new person at age thirty-seven.

Being more active was the main reason that I haven't read or posted in this forum for almost one year because I spent more time away from browsing and chatting online. That and filming and editing porn like crazy for a half dozen different companies! Guess I am back now, there is more biz to get done, but I gotta limit GFY surfing to 30 minutes or so per day! If anyone, wants some fitness or healthy cooking advice, just ask, I learned a lot in a year and think I am nearly qualified to be a physical trainer and nutritionist now.
