True but why not just tell the client you will start it in 5 days then it will take 5 days to complete so you will get it in 10 days time?

You seem to have it all worked out in your post here..... and god knows how I need management tutoring from you.... but then you're thinking on a scale of one or two sites/projects aren't you? You can't tell fifty people that you'll start on their job in five days..... that is a very bad plan.

I went around the Nelson/Malborough area on the south island and been in Auckland for a couple of weeks.

It was beautifull but i was bored out of my mind at some point.
