it's pretty easy with automator built into the mac os x operating system. it does it all for me.

Hmm... I think I might have to invest in a mac this week... I have been tempted in the past... very seriously thinking about taking the plunge now.

yep i like it, about 5 minutes i created a little app to sit on my desktop that crops and renames images for me. i just pick the images drop them on it and it does the work for me and it's done a few seconds later
