So, we were talking today about how to promote our site...we have an amateur site with exclusive content.

We're trying to decide if we should be submitting to only a few large tgps and not bother with smallers ones or doing both.

or maybe also only submitting to a couple large tgps, but not all of them.

Our thinking is if we submit to all the tgps, some of the tgps may not want to accept us because their competitors already has our galleries.

whata you guys think, experiences anyone?

I find that alot of the smaller tgps have better quality traffic then the bigger tgps

Correct. If you are in a niche, it's best to concentrate on that versus just dumping a bunch of whale traffic and playing the numbers game.

Depending on your niche, a combo of a FEW small ones give you an ROI that is better than "shotgun style" submitting. Less resources burnt, same results.

Submit to as many as possible.
We have quite a lot of users that have been with us for years, using us to promote their sites.
It's fast and efficient. If you have something unique that sells, hit as many as possible. Using GallerySubmitter.com you'll even do it as fast as possible

Go shotgun. Bandwidth is cheap and your time is a lot more valuable than server time.

we're amateur right now..we shoot some exclusive first timers

also have a girl for a solo site as well.

i don't think a few more not-big or small will do anything bad... but still give you more backlinks for SE's...
