Why GoDaddy pisses me off.

I sold a complete site to someone. The transfer has failed numerous times (registrar to registrar). After talking to multiple godaddy support guys, trying multiple things, the last guy told me to change the whois info to the person who bought the site. I did this, which in turn, placed a 60 day lock on the domain where it can not be transfered. I contacted them asking them to remove it, they said, "Sorry, we can't do that."

Recommendations on what to do?

I have heard the gibson's ripe :p

Honestly, man, the only thing you can do in these situations is not take no for an answer, keep asking for the supervisor, follow the chain till you get high enough to someone who CAN do something about it.

Be prepared to explain yourself over and over again, though.

recommendation? Know what you're doing. When you change the whois info you have to check the box that says in bold letters that the domain will be in hold for 60 days.

Also if you sell a domain, you should push the domain to the new owner's godaddy account and let him deal with the transfer.

All big registars start sucking after a while.

I've paid to renew some of my domains with registerfly almost 2 weeks ago ... it said failed, but they didn't re-imbourse me. I asked questions and I got no answers.

Today I get a letter saying one of the domain was renewed... what about the other two ?

Yes, understandable, but the support guy walked me through it, clearly understand I sold the domain and was transfering it to him. He said it would take up to a day after updating that. So either there software is retarded (which it is), their support is retarded (it is), or both are retarded (i'd think so)
